Shipping Policy

At Yak Food, we aim to provide efficient and reliable shipping services through the Madush platform to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition and on time. This Shipping Policy outlines the details regarding shipping methods, delivery timeframes, and additional charges.


1. Shipping Areas

We currently offer shipping within Japan only. We are expanding to other regions in the future, but at this time, Madush delivers exclusively within the Japanese archipelago.


2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Time

We offer various shipping methods, and delivery times may vary based on the selected option and your location:

  • Standard Shipping:
    Delivery within 7 business days. This option is available for most regions and is the most economical.

  • Express Shipping:
    Delivery within 5 business days. This is a faster option for customers who require quicker delivery.

  • Same-Day Delivery (for select regions):
    Available for orders placed before 12 PM. This option ensures that you receive your products within the same day in select areas.

Please note that shipping times may vary during holidays or due to weather conditions.


3. Shipping Costs

  • Express Shipping:
    Express shipping fees will be calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and the weight of the items.

  • Same-Day Delivery:
    Same-day delivery will incur an additional  yen surcharge, based on your location.


4. Order Processing

  • Order Confirmation:
    After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming the details of your purchase. Please check that the shipping address and other details are correct.

  • Processing Time:
    Orders are processed within some business days of receipt. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • Shipping Time:
    Once your order has been processed, it will be shipped according to the selected shipping method, and you will receive a tracking number if applicable.


5. Delivery Restrictions

  • P.O. Boxes:
    We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses. Please provide a valid residential or business address for delivery.

  • Unavailable Delivery Locations:
    Certain remote or difficult-to-reach areas may have longer delivery times or may not be eligible for certain shipping methods. Please check if your area is covered during the checkout process.


6. Delivery Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can use this number to track the status of your delivery on the carrier’s website. If you have any issues with tracking, please contact our customer service team.


7. Delays and Issues with Shipping

  • Delays Due to Weather or Holidays:
    We strive to ship all orders on time, but during extreme weather conditions, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances, delivery may be delayed. We will notify you of any significant delays.

  • Lost or Damaged Items:
    If your order is lost or damaged during transit, please contact our customer service team within same day of receiving the item. We will investigate and arrange for a replacement or refund as needed.


8. Returns Due to Shipping Issues

If the items you received are damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will arrange for a return or exchange and cover the shipping costs for the return of the item if applicable.


9. International Shipping (Future Plans)

At this time, we do not offer international shipping for Madush products. However, we are planning to expand our shipping options to other countries in the future. Please stay tuned for updates.
